Lowered From the Roof

Watch the full teaching here

November 17, 2019  //  This teaching series explores the miracles of Jesus which come out of human desperation.  One of the hardest things in life is to admit that we need help.  The man in today's story needed not only help from his friends, but help from Christian friends that knew to bring it to Jesus.  Imagine being this sick man and watching your friends carry you to a house, try but fail to get inside, then hoist you up to the roof, destroy the roof by tearing a hole in it, and then being lowered down into the middle of the crowd to face Jesus and ask for help.  When we deny others from serving us in our time of need, we deny their gift from God of serving others.  There is a time to serve and a time to be served. Mark 2:1-12
