Judging Others Versus Judging Sin

Watch the full teaching here

June 2, 2019  //  This is part of a teaching series on the book of Luke that explores his detailed accounts of the life of Jesus.  Luke 6:37 ("Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven") is often misinterpreted.  We are never to judge whether a person is going to hell, but we are to judge sin.  God is very serious about sin.  We must humble ourselves and understand that we are a work in progress, but we are also to confront our brothers in sisters who have strayed as they could end up losing their salvation. Luke 6:37, 41-42; Luke 17:3; Matthew 18:15a; 2 Timothy 4:2; Galatians 6:1a; James 5:19
