The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

Watch the full teaching here

April 14, 2019  //  This is part six of a seven-part teaching series that examines the difference between Evangelical theology that is based upon God’s truth verses Progressive theology that is based upon society's lies.   The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal power or force of God. Instead, He is a divine person, the third person in the Trinity.  The Spirit is life, knowledge, and wisdom, received and given by Christ. We achieve union with Christ by the Spirit; the Spirit provides believers with hope, assurance, and sanctifying growth.  The Spirit provides a spiritual Baptism and provides us with correction, guidance, and perseverance. Progressive theology suggests that there is no Trinity, and that it is the will of the person that causes things to change and slowly usher in the Kingdom. Mark 1:9-11; John 7:37-38
