The Advent of Hope

Watch the full teaching here

December 2, 2018  //  This is part one of a five-part teaching series on Advent. The prophet Anna lived with a “living hope" that the Messiah would come. In a world filled with bullies, financial problems, marital problems, shootings, war, disease, and pain, what is our living hope? The word Hope as it is used in the New Testament is very different than the way we define hope. We know that Christ is real – this is absolute truth - but we don’t know when He will return. In this context we would say, “I hope He comes soon.” This is how we achieve hope in our relationship with God and our relationships with each other. Luke 2:36-38; 1 Peter 1:3
