Longing for Greatness

Watch the full service here

August 9, 2020 // This teaching series delves into seven longings intelligently designed into the human heart. Although we all long for greatness, it is not greatness as the world defines it. Instead, we crave greatness in the eyes of a higher Being: God. When we humble ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit, Jesus makes an great promise: we shall sit on His throne with Him! Our greatness does not come in this earthly life; it is part of our inheritance. We must resist believing that this life is all there is; we do not benefit by self-promotion. Our inheritance is achieved through humility and service during this life, and it is enjoyed in the life in the new earth. Matthew 5:19b; Revelation 3:21 #sevenlongingsofthehumanheart
