What Is Grace?
SEPTEMBER 13, 2015 // This is part one of a six-part teaching series on the Wesleyan view of G.R.A.C.E. (God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense) which looks at the overall definition of grace. The word “grace” comes from the Greek word “charis,” which means “gift.” Because God created in us in His image, grace draws us back to Him like a tall line that stretches from the heights of a new heaven and earth, to the earth, but is gone in Hell. We live in the period of grace, but that will change as we enter the period of judgment. Genesis 1:26-27; Ephesians 2:1-10.
