LEARNING from the Bible. LIVING to honor God. MAKING Disciples of Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for visiting our web site. I hope you feel comfortable with what you see and will join us in worship this Sunday. Deciding on a church can be scary and important; whether you've never been to church, it has been a long time, or you attend regularly and want to check us out, please know that you are important to us and we want you to feel at home. You are welcome to meet with me, if you wish, before coming on Sunday.
I am on fire for Christ! I believe the Bible is the very breath of God and that the Bible molds and shapes us into the image of Christ. I believe that salvation can only come from one place: through belief in Christ. Once this happens in your life, get ready for an incredibly fun and challenging journey, and I will be there to help you every step of the way.
I, too, am a sinner saved by the grace of God, so you will not find me to be judgmental. Over the years as a pastor, I have helped people with every kind of challenge imaginable, so you may feel the freedom to be open and know that what you tell me will stay with me.
I don’t like the term “sermon”, as it can imply a preacher standing behind a pulpit and reading a manuscript. Instead, I prefer to call what I do as “teaching”. On Sunday mornings, we have fun, I move around and engage you to open your mind, heart, body, and soul to hear God’s word. I can be challenging at times, but I always end with the message of love, forgiveness, acceptance, and hope. It is okay to laugh, cry, say “Amen”, or just sit and remain silent during my teachings. As long as you are learning and growing to be more like Christ, then we are truly worshiping God together.
You will find that I am an open book. My life has had its share of sins and mistakes but has also experienced God’s grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love. God has used all of my successes and challenges to mold me into the pastor that I am today. I am not perfect, but I want to walk this journey with you.
Whether you don’t believe, you're not sure, you believe a little, or you're on fire for Christ, I would love to meet you and become your friend. If you are poor, rich, male, female, sick, healthy, married, single, widowed, divorced, with children, without children, young, not-so-young, depressed, happy, addicted, addiction-free, whatever your race, whether you've been in prison or never had a speeding ticket, and anything and everything in between, I would enjoy meeting you and walking this journey of life together.
God bless,
Pastor Mike
