You Are a Lover

Watch the full teaching here January 5, 2020 // We are all called to love like God loves us. We are created to love God, especially when we are reborn in the Spirit after we accept Jesus as our Savior. Yet we stumble, we sin, and we do not live up to the God's standard of loving. Understanding that we are given the ability to grow in love with God should spur us into embracing our own uniqueness as a lover of God. John 21:15-17 #teaching #LovingLikeGodLoves

The Grand Miracle of Incarnation

Watch the full teaching here December 22, 2019 // This teaching series explores the miracles of Jesus which come out of human desperation. God becoming flesh humbled Jesus to one of us, changing everything. God had to become one of us in order to offer the perfect sacrifice that covers sin. To begin the journey towards the perfect sacrifice, Jesus came into this world like we all do: as a baby. John 1:14 #teaching #TheMiraclesofJesus

The Miracle on the Way to a Miracle

Watch the full teaching here December 15, 2019 // This teaching series explores the miracles of Jesus which come out of human desperation. A twelve-year-old girl at the point of death, and a woman suffering from bleeding for twelve years, both in desperate need of healing from Jesus. There is an interesting connection between the girl and the woman; there were also twelve tribes and twelve disciples. The connection here is that Jesus desires to heal individual people and whole nations as well. In both the girl’s and the woman’s situation there was noise, chaos, and fear, but in the presence of faith, both were healed immediately. Mark 5:21-42 #teaching #TheMiraclesofJesus

The Miracle for the Syrophoenician Woman

Watch the full teaching here December 8, 2019 // This teaching series explores the miracles of Jesus which come out of human desperation. This teaching explores how Jesus provided a miracle for a Syrophoenician (non-Jewish) woman. While the details of our hearts' most intimate cries are very important to God, our perspective on His eternal story must always be bigger than the rise or fall of one set of circumstances. What this passage teaches is not to assume you are a second-class citizen, don’t stop praying, and always remember that God’s view is bigger than ours. Focused faith on a good God will change our perspective on life. Mark 7:24-30 #teaching #TheMiraclesofJesus
