The Ascension of Jesus

Watch the full teaching here September 1, 2019 // This is part of a teaching series on the book of Luke that explores his detailed accounts of the life of Jesus. Jesus is the second Person in the Trinity. He is God, has always existed, and will always exist. God sets down the laws and binds Himself to those laws because they are perfect. When Jesus freely chose to enter our sinful, earthly realm to be the sacrificial lamb, He also chose to separate Himself from His free will. When He ascended back into Heaven, He reclaimed His full authority. The will of Jesus is to serve others. In what ways can we choose to place ourselves into a position where we can serve others daily? Luke 24:36

The Road to Emmaus

August 25, 2019 // This is part of a teaching series on the book of Luke that explores his detailed accounts of the life of Jesus. Jesus is walking by each one of us all of the time, but we get caught up in the news of the day, our tasks, our goals, things others say. The Second Coming

Watch the full teaching here August 11, 2019 // This is part of a teaching series on the book of Luke that explores his detailed accounts of the life of Jesus. Across Scripture in both the Old and New Testaments can be found the second coming of the Messiah. It will be nothing like His first coming, where Jesus ushered in the period of grace. When He returns, He will usher in the period of judgement. We must live our day-to-day lives knowing that He could return at any moment. How do you live out the prayer, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven?” Luke 21:25-28 #teaching #TheGospelAccordingtoLuke
