The Gift

Watch the full teaching here January 1, 2017 // Did you receive the gifts you wanted for Christmas, or did your stocking leave something to be desired? Sometimes we become so engaged in Christmas purchases, that we miss the biggest Gift. John 14:25-31 #TheStory #teaching

Mary: The Mother of God

December 25, 2016 // This is part three of a four-part series on the Characters of Christmas, who were real people with real feelings, goals, and decisions. Mary: Mary was probably in her mid-teens when she became pregnant. From scripture, we see that she must have been a very strong lady and amazingly mature for any age. She took in the angel's visit, her fiancee's loyalty, and simply "pondered" them. What must have been going through her mind! Luke 1:26-35, 38 #charactersofchristmas #teaching

Keep Awake!

Watch the full service here Christmas Eve - 3:00pm & 7:00pm // Join us for a spectacular service full of music, scripture, and teaching, with a candlelight rendition of "Silent Night" at the end. When Jesus first entered the world in the Christmas story, the world could not have been less ready: the inns were full, everybody was already asleep, and the only ones to see the birth were some lowly shepherds and some animals. When Jesus comes again, will you be fast asleep? Will America be sleeping when our King returns? Will our world have forgotten what is to come? Certainly not at Clarion UMC! #teaching #charactersofchristmas

They forced Joseph and Mary to fend for th

Once again, God did things that weren’t approved by society. According to Jewish Law, Joseph could have ended the engagement or even had Mary stoned to death. Instead, he followed God’s command and risked his reputation. It must have been nearly impo
